PRIVACY POLICY OF THE YOUCREATOR PLATFORM
This document is available in multiple languages for users' convenience.
Service status
The service is in beta: individual features may be unavailable, may not work correctly, and may change or be switched off. Otherwise the service is provided "as is", without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. This does not extend to paid access to quests: for that the Platform is answerable under section 11 of the Offer, and the beta disclaimer does not override it.
This Policy sets out what personal data the YouCreator Platform collects, why, who it is shared with and how it is protected. The Platform is available to users in many countries and its servers are located in the European Union. Sections 1–15 are written to apply everywhere: lawful and transparent processing, collecting only what is necessary, limited retention, and the rights of access, rectification and erasure. Anything added by the law of a particular country is set out in section 16.
1. PERSONAL DATA OPERATOR
Platform owner and operator: YouCreator.
Email: [email protected].
Contact of the person responsible for personal data: [email protected].
Glossary of abbreviations
- PD — personal data.
- TLS — Transport Layer Security.
- AI — Artificial Intelligence.
2. SCOPE OF THE POLICY
This Policy applies to the youcreator.global website and its subdomains, to the participant cabinet that opens as an application inside Telegram (Telegram Mini App), and to the Telegram bot @talentstatusbot.
3. AGE RESTRICTION: 18 YEARS
3.1. Age restriction: The Platform is intended exclusively for persons aged 18 and over. This is our own restriction, and it is stricter than the minimum age of digital consent in most countries.
3.2. No collection of minors' data: We do not knowingly collect the personal data of persons under 18.
3.3. User confirmation: On registration the user ticks the statement "I am 18 or older and I consent to the processing of personal data". Ticking it means that the user:
- Is aged 18 or over
- Have full legal capacity
- May give consent to the processing of their personal data on their own
The tick is recorded in the database together with the date, time, IP address and browser details, so that we can evidence when and on what terms consent was given.
3.4. User's responsibility: Providing false information about one's age violates the Platform's terms of use and may result in the account being blocked immediately, with no possibility of recovery.
3.5. Safeguard mechanism: If we learn that a user under 18 has provided their personal data, we will immediately:
- Block access to the account
- Delete all personal data of that user
- Notify the user of the reason for the block (where technically possible)
3.6. Report a violation: If you become aware that a person under 18 is using the Platform, please contact us immediately at: [email protected]
3.7. Why 18 specifically: In most countries, consent to the processing of a minor's data is given by their legal representative. The Platform has no technical means of verifying a legal representative's authority, so access is closed to persons under 18 entirely. This is stricter than the minimum age of digital consent in every country where the Platform is available.
4. PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS
Identification
first name, last name, e-mail address, profile photo (your photo and name are visible to other participants — on the leaderboard, in course participant lists and on public author pages)
Learning
course progress, tests, certificates
Content
uploaded files (.pdf, .docx, .jpg), cover images, video links
Technical
IP address, cookies, device and browser type, server access logs
Location
city/country from the profile settings
Telegram data
Telegram ID, first name, last name, username and profile photo — passed to us by Telegram itself on sign-in. For pilot participants, additionally: which school chats they belong to.
Submitted work and ratings
photographs of submitted work, reflection texts, the ratings you give to other people's work, and curators' decisions on yours
Payment data
the Telegram payment identifier, the amount in Stars, the quest purchased and the date of purchase. Card numbers and other payment credentials are never passed to the Platform and are not available to it.
5. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
- Providing access to the Platform's materials and services.
- Recording educational achievements.
- User support is provided through interaction with the AI assistant.
- Improving the interface.
- Feedback and support for Authors and Users of the platform.
- Public display of the profile: your photo, name and username are visible to other users on the progress leaderboard, in course participant lists and on public author pages — so that participants recognise one another.
- Selling access to paid quests and settling payments with their authors.
- Running the pilot: submitting work to a curator, acceptance, peer rating, and the showcase of the best work.
Processing principles
- Minimisation — we collect only the data genuinely needed for the Platform to work.
- Transparency — we openly inform the User about the purposes and methods of processing.
- Accuracy — at the data subject's request, data is corrected or deleted.
- Security — we apply technical (TLS 1.3, encryption, WAF) and organisational (access restrictions, staff training) safeguards.
Payments
Access to certain quests is sold for Telegram Stars, Telegram's internal currency. The payment takes place entirely on Telegram's side: the Platform neither sees nor stores banking credentials. See section 9.6 of this Policy and section 11 of the Offer.
6. LEGAL GROUNDS
- The user's consent — on registration, on first use of the AI assistant, and when signing in through Telegram.
- Performance of the contract with the user — the Offer and the purchase of access to a quest.
- The Platform's legitimate interests — account security, preventing abuse, and anonymous usage counts.
- Compliance with obligations imposed on the Platform by law.
- Accounting and tax law requirements — for payment records.
7. METHODS AND MODE OF PROCESSING
Processing is carried out in a mixed manner — both automated and non-automated. The Platform's servers and database are hosted in a Hetzner Online GmbH data centre in Germany (European Union). The site sits behind the Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) content delivery network — every request to the Platform passes through it.
8. RETENTION PERIOD
How long depends on which data is involved.
Account data
For as long as you use the Platform and for 5 years after your last sign-in — or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first.
Payment records
The payment identifier, amount, date and quest purchased. The period is set by accounting and tax law. These are not deleted along with the account.
Pilot events
Submissions, acceptances and ratings given. These remain in the school's log: other participants' levels and achievements are calculated from them.
A period is extended only where the law requires it or where the data is the subject of a dispute.
9. TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER
Personal data is not transferred to third parties, except to:
- government authorities upon a lawful request;
- infrastructure providers: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) for servers and the database, and Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) for content delivery and attack protection;
- AI providers (OpenAI Inc., OpenRouter Inc., Google LLC) — to the extent necessary for the AI assistant to work, as set out in section 9.3;
- Telegram — for website sign-in, the pilot bot, the participant cabinet and quest payments, as set out in section 9.5;
- Resend, Inc. (USA) — for sending service e-mails, as set out in section 9.7.
9.1. Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany)
YouCreator hosts the Platform's servers and database in a Hetzner Online GmbH data centre.
Location: Federal Republic of Germany (European Union)
Official website: https://www.hetzner.com
Data transferred:
- All users' personal data held in the Platform's database
- Database backups
- Server access logs
Legal ground:
- A Data Processing Agreement with the hosting provider in accordance with Article 28 GDPR
- Hetzner Online GmbH acts as a processor of personal data on the operator's instructions and does not use it for its own purposes
Safeguards:
- Hetzner's data centres are certified to ISO/IEC 27001
- Physical security: data centre access control, video surveillance, round-the-clock guarding
- Daily backups verified by test restore
- Protection against unauthorised access: firewall, key-only server login, automatic blocking of password guessing
- Processing within European Union jurisdiction, to which the GDPR applies
Retention period: Data is held on Hetzner's servers until the user deletes their account or the retention period set out in this Policy expires.
For reference: Details of the provider's safeguards, certifications and data processing terms are published on its website: https://www.hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy/
9.2. Cross-border transfers of personal data
The Platform's servers are located in Germany, so all processing of personal data is cross-border, not merely certain operations. Beyond hosting, data is transferred to:
9.3. Use of AI services
When the AI assistant is used and educational content is generated, the platform transfers data to the following AI providers (all based in the USA):
OpenAI Inc.
San Francisco, USA
Generation of educational content, answers to user questions.
Privacy Policy
OpenRouter Inc.
San Francisco, USA
Aggregator of AI models (DeepSeek, Qwen and others); used to generate structured learning content.
Privacy Policy
Google LLC (Gemini)
USA
Additional content generation tasks.
Privacy Policy
Data transferred:
- Users' text queries (without full names)
- Learning session context (course and lesson titles)
- An anonymous technical session identifier
- The personalised learning profile (role, goals, communication style — without name or contact details), if the user has filled it in
NOT transferred: full name, email, phone number, address and other identifying contact details.
Purpose of the transfer: generating personalised educational materials and answers using artificial intelligence.
Legal ground: the data subject's consent to the use of AI services, given the first time the relevant functionality is used.
Retention period: up to 30 days on the providers' servers, in accordance with their privacy policies.
Safeguards: transfer over HTTPS/TLS 1.3. Each provider processes the data in accordance with its own privacy policy and data processing agreement.
Right to withdraw: the user may withdraw consent to the use of AI at any time in the profile settings. Once it is withdrawn, the AI assistant becomes unavailable.
9.4. Public display of the profile photo
The user's profile photo is permanently used for display in the following sections of the Platform:
- the leaderboard (progress table)
- course participant lists
- public pages of authors and content creators
- the user's activity history
- the guild leaderboard
- guild member lists
Lesson comments are switched off — profile photos are not displayed there.
Legal ground: the user's consent to the processing of personal data, including the public display of their image, obtained at the moment of registration on the Platform.
Restrictions: the profile photo is not used in advertising materials, is not transferred to third parties and is not used for commercial purposes outside the Platform's functionality.
9.5. Telegram: sign-in, bot and cabinet
The Platform connects to Telegram in four places, and in each of them Telegram receives or supplies data.
- Website sign-in. The Telegram widget passes the Platform your ID, first name, last name, username and a link to your profile photo. Your phone number and password are not passed.
- The pilot bot. The bot operates in school chats and in private messages. Telegram passes it the messages and reactions of participants in those chats, together with information about who has joined a chat. The bot sends notifications, participants' work and acceptance messages back to Telegram.
- The participant cabinet (Mini App). When the cabinet opens, Telegram passes signed information about the user. The signature is verified on the Platform's side; the bot token is not stored on the website, so access to the website does not grant control of the bot.
- Quest payments. See section 9.6.
Recipient: Telegram FZ-LLC (United Arab Emirates) and affiliated Telegram group companies.
Legal ground: the user's consent, given when signing in through Telegram; for pilot participants, also performance of the contract.
Telegram processes this data under its own privacy policy, which the Platform cannot influence.
How to do without Telegram: register with an e-mail address instead. The participant cabinet and quest purchases are then unavailable — they exist only inside Telegram.
9.6. Quest payments via Telegram Stars
Access to paid quests is sold for Telegram Stars. Telegram performs the charge and any refund; the Platform receives only the outcome.
- The Platform neither receives nor stores card numbers, account numbers or other payment credentials — Telegram does not pass them on.
- The Platform stores: the Telegram payment identifier, the amount in Stars, the quest purchased, the purchase date and, in the event of a refund, the refund date.
- The Platform tells the quest's author the fact and amount of the sale, in order to calculate their share. The buyer's personal data is not passed to the author.
- Telegram may tell the Platform whose link the buyer first used to open the cabinet, in order to calculate affiliate remuneration.
Legal ground: performance of the contract for the sale of quest access, and accounting and tax law requirements.
Retention period: payment records are retained for the period required by accounting law and are not deleted along with the account.
9.7. Sending e-mail
Service e-mails — address confirmation, password reset, notice of a pending account deletion — are sent through Resend, Inc. (USA). The recipient's address and the body of the message are passed to the provider. The Platform does not run marketing mailings.
Legal ground: performance of the contract and the operator's legitimate interests — account security.
10. SECURITY
Our security measures
- The channel between your device and the Platform is encrypted with modern TLS, with a forced upgrade to a secure connection.
- Encryption of data at rest is provided by the hosting provider's infrastructure.
- Malicious requests are filtered and denial-of-service attacks are absorbed at the content delivery network.
- A set of security headers: they prevent content-type sniffing, block the Platform's pages from being embedded in other sites, and stop the referring address leaking. The one exception is the cabinet page: Telegram opens it inside a frame of its own client, so embedding there is permitted to Telegram's domains and to no one else.
- Session cookies are sent only over a secure connection, are not readable by page scripts, and by default are not sent to third-party sites. In the cabinet inside Telegram that last restriction is relaxed — otherwise Telegram could not open it — and request forgery there is prevented by a separate token that only the Platform's own code can set.
- Regular daily backups and audit logs.
- Strict access segregation and two-factor authentication for admins.
- Restricted staff permissions and regular information security training.
11. USERS' RIGHTS
- Receive information about the processing of their personal data (categories, purposes, methods, periods)
- Request a copy of their data via the “Data export” feature in the profile (JSON format)
- Demand correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Demand deletion of data by deleting the account (with no possibility of restoration). The exception is payment records and pilot events; section 8 explains why they remain
- Withdraw consent to the use of the AI assistant at any time
- Remove the profile photo from public display at any time (the account itself stays active)
- Right to protection of one's image to demand the removal of one's photo or an end to its distribution
- Lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority where you live
We answer such requests within 30 calendar days. Where the law of your country of residence sets a shorter deadline, that deadline applies.
12. AUTOMATED DECISIONS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The Platform uses automated processing in three places. None of it produces legal effects for the user or replaces a human decision.
- Creating learning materials. AI writes lesson texts, course plans and assistant replies in response to your prompt. The output is learning material, not a judgement about you.
- Marking tests. Answers are checked automatically. The number of attempts is limited, and the result affects only access to the next step within the course.
- Pairing people for peer review. Which work is shown to whom is chosen by an algorithm. It has no bearing on the rating itself — that is given by a person.
People make the decisions: accepting work, a participant's level, inclusion in the showcase and blocking an account are all done by a person. If you disagree with a decision, write to support and a person will review it.
The Platform does not build advertising profiles, does not assess users' creditworthiness and does not pass behavioural data to advertising networks.
13. INCIDENT RESPONSE
In the event of a leak, unauthorised access or other compromise of personal data, the Platform notifies the affected users and the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. Which authority that is depends on the country — see section 16.
14. USE OF COOKIES
The Platform uses cookies to:
- making sign-in and sessions work;
- remembering your chosen language and interface settings;
- protecting forms against request forgery;
- anonymous visit counts on the Platform's own servers.
Types of cookies:
Essential cookies
Needed for sign-in, navigation and form protection. The site does not work without them, so they cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies
The Platform does not set any: visits are counted on the server, with no external trackers and no separate cookies.
Functional cookies
These store your preferences — language and interface settings. You can delete them in your browser settings; the site will keep working but will forget your choice.
There are no third-party trackers. The Platform does not use external analytics systems, sets no advertising cookies and passes no behavioural data to advertising networks. Every cookie on the Platform is its own.
On the first visit to the site, a banner is shown with information about the use of cookies. In the banner the User can:
- accept the use of all types of cookies
- decline the use of cookies
Before you make a choice in the banner, only the essential cookies are used, without which sign-in and form protection do not work. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Cookie retention period: from the session (until the browser is closed) up to 1 year, depending on the type.
Browser local storage: the participant cabinet remembers on your device which mode you chose, which hints you have already seen, and your gesture-confirmation setting. These values never leave the device and are not sent to the server.
15. CHANGES TO THE POLICY
Updates are published at https://youcreator.global/information no later than 10 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform means acceptance of the changes.
16. ADDITIONS FOR PARTICULAR JURISDICTIONS
Sections 1–15 apply to every user together with the mandatory laws of their country of residence. The additional safeguards below apply to users in the European Union and European Economic Area.
16.1. European Union and European Economic Area
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to users in the EU and the EEA. The Platform's servers are located within the European Union.
Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdrawal of consent at any time. How to exercise them is set out in section 11.
Complaints: you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Transfers outside the EEA: data is transferred to AI providers and an e-mail delivery service in the USA and to Telegram's services in the UAE. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or on your explicit consent; details are in section 9.
Contact: for data protection matters write to the responsible contact whose address is given in section 1.

Use of the Platform constitutes full acceptance of the terms of the Offer.
PUBLIC OFFER FOR THE USE OF THE YOUCREATOR PLATFORM
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. This public offer (the “Offer”) is an official proposal by the YouCreator platform (the “Rightholder”) to enter into an agreement on the use of the Platform on the terms set out below with any legally capable person (the “User”).
1.2. The YouCreator Platform (the "Platform") means the youcreator.global website and its subdomains, the built-in AI assistants, the Telegram bot @talentstatusbot and the participant cabinet that opens as an application inside Telegram.
1.3. The Offer is accepted by registering and/or actually using the Platform's functionality. Uploading materials, opening the participant cabinet and paying for a quest confirm the User's agreement to the terms of the Offer.
1.4. In respect of Content posted by Authors, the Platform acts as an information intermediary: it does not review Content before publication and is not answerable for it, but must act on well-founded complaints under section 8. Sales of access to paid quests are governed by section 11; settlement is carried out by Telegram, and the Platform does not receive the User's banking credentials.
1.5. The Platform is available to users in many countries. Where the law of the User's country of residence grants them consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract, those rights apply regardless of the terms of this Offer.
2. DEFINITIONS
- Author — a registered User who publishes content (courses, articles, images, video, files, links).
- Listener — a User who consumes content without the right to publish.
- Student — a participant in a learning programme created by an Author, including in test mode.
- Content — any materials published by an Author.
- Assistant — the AI assistant built into the Platform’s interfaces.
- Quest — a learning programme on the Platform, made up of steps. Some quests are free; others are sold for Stars.
- School — a Telegram chat connected to the Platform by its owner and approved by the Rightholder. In a school, participants submit work and curators accept it.
- Curator — a participant entrusted by the school owner with accepting submitted work.
- Cabinet — the participant's personal area, which opens as an application inside Telegram.
- Stars — Telegram Stars, Telegram's internal currency, used to pay for access to paid quests.
3. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES
3.1. Rights of the Author
- to publish Content;
- to use AI assistants to generate descriptions and recommendations;
- to add tags and filters;
- to receive feedback from the audience.
3.2. Obligations of the Author
- to hold all rights necessary for the Content;
- label advertising materials and affiliate links in accordance with applicable advertising law;
- not post Content that breaches applicable law or third-party rights;
- to keep Content descriptions and metadata up to date;
- to remedy violations within 48 hours of notification.
3.3. Liability of the Author
The Author bears full responsibility for the lawfulness of the Content and for settling third-party claims. If claims are brought against the Rightholder through the fault of the Author, the Author shall compensate the resulting losses.
3.4. Rights of the Rightholder
- not to moderate Content prior to publication;
- to moderate on complaint within up to 3 business days;
- to restrict access temporarily in the event of violations;
- to change the functionality of the Platform unilaterally.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
4.1. All exclusive rights to the software code, design, corporate identity and other elements of the Platform belong to the Rightholder.
4.2. The Author grants the Rightholder a royalty-free non-exclusive licence to use the Content for the period during which it is published.
4.3. Reverse engineering, decompilation, modification of the code, copying of the design and use of brand elements without the Rightholder’s consent are prohibited.
5. CONFIDENTIALITY
5.1. Personal data are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
5.2. The Platform's servers and database are located in Germany (European Union). Certain data — text prompts and learning-session context — is transferred to AI providers in the USA; sign-in and payment data is transferred to Telegram. Details are in sections 9.1–9.7 of the Privacy Policy.
5.3. The Author must comply with personal-data legislation when publishing third-party data.
6. SERVICE LEVEL AND LIMITATIONS
6.1. The Platform is provided “as is”; interruptions, maintenance and updates are possible.
6.2. Answers from the AI assistants are for reference only and do not constitute a recommendation to act.
6.3. The Rightholder does not guarantee any educational outcome.
7. LIABILITY OF THE PARTIES
7.1. The Author is responsible for the Content and for holding the necessary rights.
7.2. The Rightholder is not liable for the actions of Users or for lost profits.
7.3. For Users acting for business purposes, the Rightholder's maximum liability is limited to the amount actually paid by that User over the preceding 12 months. For consumer Users, liability is determined by the mandatory rules of the law of their country of residence and is not limited by this Offer to the extent that such limitation would conflict with the law.
8. NOTICE OF INFRINGEMENT AND REMOVAL OF CONTENT
8.1. Complaints to [email protected] with a link, a description of the violation and supporting evidence.
8.2. Review takes up to 3 business days; the Author is notified where necessary.
8.3. The Author remedies the violation within 48 hours, otherwise the Content is removed.
9. PROCEDURE FOR AMENDING THE OFFER
9.1. The Rightholder may amend the Offer by publishing a new version at https://youcreator.global/information.
9.2. Amendments take effect no earlier than 10 (ten) calendar days after the new version is published, unless another period is specified. Continued use of the Platform after the amendments take effect constitutes agreement to the new version of the Offer.
10. COMMUNICATIONS AND NOTICES
10.1. Official notices are published on the Platform and in the site’s official groups.
11. BUYING QUESTS WITH TELEGRAM STARS
11.1. Access to certain quests is sold for Telegram Stars. The price in Stars is shown before payment. A free quest becomes paid only by decision of the Rightholder, and access already granted is not withdrawn.
11.2. The invoice is issued by the Platform's Telegram bot and Stars are charged by Telegram. Card numbers and other payment credentials are not passed to the Platform.
11.3. Payment grants indefinite access to the purchased quest for one account. Access opens as soon as the payment is confirmed, and from that moment the service is treated as rendered.
11.4. Paying a second time for a quest already owned does not go through: the Platform rejects it and the Stars are returned automatically.
11.5. Refunds. A refund of Stars can be requested with the /paysupport command in the Telegram bot, or by writing to support at the address in the company details; the request must quote the payment number from the Telegram receipt. The Rightholder reviews the request within 10 calendar days. Refunds are made in Stars to the same Telegram account that paid: Telegram does not provide for cash refunds.
11.6. A refund is made without exception where the purchased quest is unavailable through the Rightholder's fault, its content differs materially from the description, or the payment was taken in error, including twice.
11.7. The quest's Author receives 40% of the sale price. The remainder is retained by the Rightholder to cover Telegram's commission, running the Platform and support. Shares are fixed at the moment of purchase: later changes to the price or terms do not recalculate sales already made.
11.8. If a purchased quest is deleted by its Author or discontinued at the Rightholder's initiative, the buyer is entitled to a refund of Stars.
12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
12.1. The parties first attempt to settle a dispute out of court: a claim is sent to the e-mail address in the company details, and an answer is given within 10 working days.
12.2. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is resolved in court. A consumer User may bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence. For Users acting for business purposes, disputes are heard at the Rightholder's place of incorporation.
12.3. Jurisdiction specifics for particular countries are set out in section 16.
13. TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT
13.1. The User may delete their account at any time.
13.2. The Rightholder may block an account in the event of a breach of the Offer or of the law.
14. PROCESSING OF DATA BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
14.1. AI systems used:
The Platform uses the following artificial-intelligence systems:
- OpenAI GPT (OpenAI Inc., USA) — generation of educational content and answers to user questions
- OpenRouter Inc. (USA) — an aggregator of AI models (DeepSeek, Qwen and others); generation of structured learning content and courses
- Google Gemini (Google LLC, USA) — additional content-generation tasks
14.2. Geography of processing:
- All AI features of the Platform use external APIs and are processed on the providers’ servers in the USA
- Data are transferred to OpenAI Inc., OpenRouter Inc. and Google LLC (USA) and processed in accordance with their privacy policies
- No AI processing of its own is performed on the Platform's servers (Germany)
- The Platform's servers only forward requests and receive responses
14.3. Categories of data transferred:
Only the following are transferred to the AI systems:
- Users’ text prompts, without full names
- Learning-session context (course and lesson titles)
- Technical session information (without contact details)
- The personalised learning profile (role, goals, style — without name or contact details), if the user has filled it in
14.4. Protective measures:
- Data are transmitted over secure channels (HTTPS/TLS 1.3)
- Contact and identifying data (full name, email, phone) are NOT transferred to external AI providers
15. THE TELEGRAM BOT, SCHOOLS AND THE PARTICIPANT CABINET
15.1. Some quests are taken in a school format — a Telegram chat with the Platform's bot connected to it. The chat owner applies and the Rightholder reviews the application; without approval a chat does not become a school.
15.2. A participant submits work for a step of the quest, and a school curator either accepts it or returns it for revision. Until the work for the current step is accepted, the next step does not open. In a school with no curators, the owner accepts the work.
15.3. Participants rate one another's work. With the author's agreement, the best work is placed in the school's showcase.
15.4. Submitted work is visible to its author, to their school and to schools taking the same quest. It does not become public.
15.5. Roles — school owner, curator, participant — are determined by Telegram ID rather than by rights in the chat. The owner may appoint and remove curators.
15.6. Decisions on accepting work, on levels and on the showcase are taken by people — the school's owner and curators. The bot relays events and decides nothing itself.
15.7. Accepted work can no longer be returned for revision: acceptance is irreversible. The participant is warned of this before confirming the action.
15.8. The Rightholder may disconnect a school from the Platform if the terms of the Offer or the law are breached.
16. ADDITIONS FOR PARTICULAR JURISDICTIONS
Sections 1–15 apply to every User together with the mandatory laws of their country of residence. The additional safeguards below apply to users in the European Union and European Economic Area.
16.1. European Union and European Economic Area
Right of withdrawal: under Directive 2011/83/EU a consumer has 14 days to withdraw from a contract. Access to a quest opens immediately on payment at your express request (clause 11.3) and, by confirming the purchase, you agree to performance beginning and lose that right. The grounds for a mandatory refund under clause 11.6 remain.
Conformity with the description: under Directive 2019/770 on digital content you may require that a lack of conformity be remedied, or claim a price reduction or a refund, if the quest does not match its description.
Jurisdiction: an EU consumer may bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
